Subscription-based services have been around for decades,
including newspapers and magazines, utility services, gained significant traction due to the internet and digital and have ,and mail-order catalogues, to name but a few technology.

However, as we stepped out of COVID-19, many more services introduced the subscription model. Pret a Manger and Uber now have a subscription-based service.
But could it work in a professional services business? Absolutely. I’ve started working with clients, showing them how to implement a subscription-based service.

There are several benefits, including predictable revenue streams, enhanced customer loyalty, and improved client retention.

Here are some considerations:

5.Create Value Proposition: Clearly communicate your service’s value proposition to potential clients. Highlight the benefits   – ongoing access to your expertise, personalised support, and cost savings through having a subscription.

6. Launch Marketing Campaign: Launch a targeted marketing campaign to a specific set of clients to see how they respond.

7. Offer Trials: Consider offering a trial to allow potential clients to experience your subscription service before committing to a long-term subscription. This builds trust while demonstrating value.

8. Gather Feedback: Getting feedback is the lifeblood of making this successful and will help you to understand client needs, preferences, and pain points. Use this feedback to iterate and improve your offering.
